This looks really cool.  Does anyone have any experience with one of these?  My main use would be to backpack it into remote areas for fishing.

Mainstay Emergency Food Rations

I can speak from personal experience and say these things are great.  I suggest putting one in each vehicle and pack you own.  They are 3600 calories per package divided up into nine 400 calorie "biscuits."  My kids love them and they contain vitamins needed to survive as well as calories.
