Worth the Weight

I have a new addition to my camping/survival pack.  I made a concoction of olive oil, garlic, and black pepper.  Many wild edibles are low on calories, fats, and/or flavor.  This is my solution to that.  The mixture can be used as dressing or to fry food in as well as drank if your stomach can handle it.  Be sure to store it in a heatable container such as glass or stainless steel because the oil will solidify.  According to the label on the olive oil it contains 120 calories per tablespoon.  Here are a few links with info about the health benefits of the ingredients:
